A regression introduced in the Linux kernel v5.9.11 and v5.4.80 prevents the Shepherd from properly unmounting the efivars file system and shutting down the operating system on UEFI-capable hardware. This bug has already been reported on the kernel's bug tracker: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210367
