I'm strongly against unless the developers keep the
default single-page view as well as the default PageDown,
PageUp single-page behavior. Also, PageDown, PageUp should
immediately revert to centering the nearest page. I'm
afraid this is not a given.
Example: recent changes to xpdf, which I'm unable to get
to page by default in normal mode, not from command line
and not from .xpdfrc. I need to at least press a key after
opening a file.
Gv is probably the last program standing that is able to
page a document properly by DEFAULT. Scrolling *pages* is
frustrating for scientific plots and papers, for books,
etc. As an emergency, OK, but PageDown, PageUp should
immediately center the nearest page.
