I am scrutinising GNU Hello because I want to use it as a
raw model for my own project that follows the GNU style.
I'm glad you are doing so, since that's exactly its (main) purpose.
Unfortunately there are a number of things which are less than ideal.
For one thing, it should use gnulib modules (see
savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnulib) where possible.
The hello sources currently in CVS have made a start on this, although
more needs to be done.
Please don't hesitate to report any other problems.
Thanks,
Karl
