Hi Reuben,

The Savannah git repo is official upstream. My working copy will have
history changes (occasional rebases), and that not ok for the upstream
repo. Basically I'm following the rules linux kernel upstream git is
using. Linus's email[1] has more details.

Or have I missed Savannah allowing per developer private git repos? If
that is an option I don't mind moving stuff from github to elsewhere.
BTW I'm not paying to github, so it is free in some sense. Maybe not
free as New Years champagne (or beer in my  household).
