For those who don't follow slashdot:

There's an article about a project that has emded Orbit (A Corba ORB) in
the Linux Kernel. The example they use is writing device drivers in PERL.

If it catches on, would this be a relatively clean interface for sharing
user-space drivers between Linux and Hurd?

No matter how big the bell, if you only tap it, it can give out only a
faint sound. We must understand thoroughly that the weakness of the blow,
not a fault of the bell makes the sound poor.
