For those who don't follow slashdot:
There's an article about a project that has emded Orbit (A Corba ORB) in
the Linux Kernel. The example they use is writing device drivers in PERL.

If it catches on, would this be a relatively clean interface for sharing
user-space drivers between Linux and Hurd?
