I too met him and his students last year at USENIX. He was full of
energy and enthusiasm, and was quite inspirational. We exchanged a few
ideas about the Hurd and L4 and promised to speak in the future.
May his ideas live on to inspire us. And additionally, may he, one day,
be a giant on whose shoulders I stand.
