pthreads & glibc signal code

I'm looking at the signal code of glibc, because this needs to be
changed for pthreads. Besides adding the pthreads support, are there
other things which need to be changed in the signal code? And should I
just make use of the pthreads internal functions, or should I do it in
another way?
