I'm trying to compile the 2.3 branch. I can't use 2.2 for pthreads
because I need the TLS changes. I hope this isn't going to give much
problems.

According to some mails on the libc lists, you need 3.0.3. I tried
with 3.0.2 yesterday, the newest hurd-i386 debian package, and it
didn't work. I don't know if it's my fault, a bug in 2.3 or the
compiler. I've compiled 3.0.4 and I'm going to try again. :)

I'm still stuck in the DAM queue anyway. :(
