Thank you to all the people who replied. I had some suggestions from
Robert Millan and Oystein Viggen on how to use dyndns.org for hosting a
machine myself. Also thanks to Peter Thoeny, TWiki's author for his
interest and encouragement. Joachim Nilsson has provided a home for the
Hurd TWiki trial on a server in Sweden. Please check out the pages at:

If you have some relevant Hurd information on your own web pages, have
surfed and found many resources that could use indexing or would like to
write some new documentation, this is the place. You are encouraged to
create and modify pages as you see fit. This space can be used for
semi-private information as well as a central resource for information
about the Hurd.

During the introduction phase I will assume the role of editor and
coordinator. Comments and suggestions are encouraged.

Authentication is possible anonymously using the WikiName TWikiGuest
(password: guest) or with your own WikiName. Self registration and
cration of your own WikiName is available from the TWikiRegistration
URL. How people choose to use authentication is left undefined at the
moment to adapt to whatever editing norms the Hurd community wishes to
establish.

If you want updates about the Hurd TWiki, automatic updates should soon
be available by adding your name to the WebNotify page. You should
automatically get email after any Hurd page is created or updated. This
isn't working just yet, but it should be functional soon.
