 Here is the usage:
                fprintf(stderr, "Usage: %s [tick_value]\n", argv[0]);

 When it can't use adjtimex it tries to open /dev/kmem and alter it using
an nlist.  There seems to be another way, but it looks to be even more hackish
than using the nlist.
