No, the name is passed as an argument to the translator. See what we do for
term right now (like, what I wrote down three or four mails ago).
You can also use term_set_nodename. But whoever does this must know the
name before it can do so.

Of course. It must be a filename which you can use to get a new port to the
same tty.
