oh, a brave soul! :)

The debian version has some small but important bug fixes. You can
download them as extra package from the url you have downloaded the
pcmcia patch if you dont want to download the whole oskit src package
from debian.

Yep, this is one of the bug fixes.

I guess, you want to use the pcmcia tulip driver? The pcmcia patch you
used does not have it. I've got here a newer version with all ethernet
drivers build in. Unfortunately there is something wrong so I didn't
upload it yet.
