On my system, I have it configured that Marcus' console starts only in
regular mode (not single user). When booting in Single user mode, I
want the mach console to operate correctly (I know it doesn't because of
the keyboard, but I'm imagining that that's an implementation detail),
when the console starts as we work our way through /etc/rc2.d, It would
be nice to somehow have the previous console output appear on the first
virtual console, and any new startup output to appear there also.

Should I be approaching this differently?

do Jews. Is that a reason to deny someone equality?
