That was actually part of what drove my question.  I want to start working on 
the tasks but my skills are very limited at the moment so I need a place to 
start.  I was looking at rpctrace and I think it's over my head.  I was looking 
at the fatfs issues but someone is already working on them to some degree, etc. 
etc.

I need someplace to start digging so I can be of some use eventually.  I really 
would like to get pcmcia going in oskit-mach so I can get Hurd up on a laptop 
but I know that's over my head.  Hell, right now I can't even compile 
oskit-mach... :-)
