That doens't happen so often. If we grep out all known
subscribers, what does remain?

Are we afraid of losing one or two legitimate mails
out of many spams? We can safely assume that people
who are interested in the Hurd are also capable of
subscribing to a mailing list before posting their
queries (especially if automatically asked by mailman
or whatever)...

Have them subscribe all sending addresses, and eventually
filter (or ignore) any duplicates on their side. It is also
possible to disable delivery from the mailing list manager
to all but one address.
