   Ah, so that's what you mean with "specific melody".  Well, you have
   to write the same code to do that, if you use it with guile or not.

Sure, and it is quite simple.  Run a hook called
generic-speaker/on-beep-event that is run each time there is going to
be a beep.  And add a function for creating beeps.

And this has actually written, not tested, but oh well. :-)
