Bugs and Patches artifacts are (obviously) bug reports so I think it's natural bug-hurd@ to get notifications for each change in them.
I'm willing to patch Savane (used by Savannah) but I generally have many things to do (like anybody else;-) and I don't know when I can schedule time for working on that.
