How can I tell GNU Mach _not_ to reboot the system on this ...
Hack panic() and add a for-ever loop.
I'm probably getting the same error while trying to build glibc,
too, and can reproduce it -- but I couldn't write down the error
message, because the system immediatelly rebooted.
Could you remind me abit more about that thread?
Shall I recompile GNU Mach with the patch Roland posted in this
thread?
I don't know what patch Roland posted.
P.S. The error from above and GNU Mach's shutdown message "init:
notifying [...] of shutdown... halting Mach (flags 0x8)... In
thight loop: hiy ctl-alt-del to reboot" won't show up on my screen
if I have '/hurd/console ...' running. Shouldn't these messages
get passed through?
Yes, that is a bug that hasn't been fixed.
