Given that :

  1. Alfred has alread been removed from the main Hurd project for his
       « behaviour problems » ;
  2. hurdextras and the main Hurd project should be kept in sync ;
  3. Alfred has proven once again that he is impossible to work and talk
       with ;
  4. Every member of the Hurd community who has given their
        advice on this thread supports Alfred's removal ;
  5. Several members of the hurdextras project have expressed
       their frustration with Alfred when I contacted them a few weeks
       ago ;
  6. Alfred has failed to explain his behaviour, once again, resorting
       to personal attacks ;
  7. James, the other co-admin, agrees that this action should be
       taken if it helps the hurdextras project

... and probably many more (objective) reasons, I have decided to do a).
I hope that'll be enough for you, Thomas.

I hope we'll still be able to do that. In the meantime, the end of this
crisis means I'll have time and motivation to integration httpfs and
gopherfs patches to hurdextras, which means every translator in there
should work by the end of this week.
