I'd like to point out again that my RealTek 8029 PCI card did work
before. So either there are different signatures for this chip (note
that the one the patch is about is emulated, not real hardware, unlike
mine), in which case the changelog entry is confusing; or it used the
other NE driver mentioned in the discussion -- in which case the patch
is probably wrong.
