Have you checked what libnetfs does? Probably you need to do more or
less the same...
This is what I was actually doing on Wednesday and Thursday, but the
things I tried to borrow didn't seem immediately fruitful. When I
tried to compare the ways the code in
{netfs,trivfs}_S_file_set_translator and {netfs,trivfs}_S_fsys_getroot
runs, I didn't manage to observe any crucial difference :-(
I suppose a more careful digging might bring more results, but I'll
postpone this (leaving a mark on the TODO list, of course).
