Nope, I didn't :-)

To get a more exact view of the problem, I stopped using apt-get
update for checking the connection. Instead, I use the following:

 # wget http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/syntax-and-semantics.html

When I do

 # settrans -a /dev/eth0 devnode eth0

and then setup pfinet in the way I showed in my previous mail, wget
(quite quickly) connects to the site, downloads 2,576 bytes and then
stalls (always; I've checked this several times). When I try to run
the same wget command once again, it takes wget a long time to resolve
www.gigamonkeys.com and then it hangs trying to connect to the server.
