Aha, I see; I think I can remember now that you have indeed exposed
this opinion.

I'd say I don't feel enthusiastic about pushing topic development
branches into the main repository without an explicit need either. Of
course, I could easily do that if that would be necessary, but since I
don't see any real motivation now, I'd rather refrain from that.
