Yes, it's known to be broken.

IIRC Bing looked at it a couple of years ago, but got stuck on the more
serious issues with the pager. (Not sure though whether he ever
submitted patches for the simpler ones.)
I don't remember whether someone else took a look more recently. I do
remember some discussion, but I don't know with whom...
