Hi,

No, but I just spent the better part of the night updating the forms
etc. (which means that I'll be very sleepy at the meeting tomorrow, err,
I mean today -- as usual...); and now wanted to write about it.

I considered offloading this to someone else this year, as I don't
really have time -- but then, most of the stuff from last year can be
reused, so it shouldn't require much new effort... And I trust most
others with such stuff even less then I trust myself ;-) Some help would
be nice though, as always.

The results of my labour are available from

   http://www.bddebian.com/~hurd-web/community/gsoc/

Please take a look at the organisation application form,

   http://www.bddebian.com/~hurd-web/community/gsoc/organization_application/

the student application template,

   http://www.bddebian.com/~hurd-web/community/gsoc/student_application_form/

and the project ideas list,

   http://www.bddebian.com/~hurd-web/community/gsoc/project_ideas/

and make improvements/give some feedback.

Wouldn't hurt to get some new projects on the list either... Please
share your brilliant ideas :-)

Also, we need a backup organisation administrator. Any takers?

The link ID for the backup admin needs to be supplied in the
organisation application form. If you participated (in any role) last
year, you should already have a link ID. Otherwise, please sign in on
the GSoC page ( http://socghop.appspot.com) with your Google account,
and create a user profile -- you will get your link ID in this process.

I think that's it for now. Perhaps we can discuss some things at the
meeting tomorrow... I mean today.
