This is as far as it gets: 

       you. An easy way to do this is to use http://ftp.CC.debian.org/debian    
           substituting CC for your country code.                               
           Package source [file:///debian]?                                     
           Debootstrapping Debian GNU/Hurd...                                   
           I: Retrieving Release                                                
           I: Retrieving Packages           
           I: Validating Packages                                               
           I: Resolving dependencies of required packages...                    

Then it stalls. Current stall time was about 2h before I stopped it.            

Do you have an idea why it breaks here?
