I just pointed out the situation; I'll leave it up to you whether you
consider it useful to actually change anything :-)

Err... Why would that be?

Actually, Samuel's reply talks about starting permissions, which is a
distinct issue I think...

In either case, your guide mentions workarounds for both problems -- so
why still recommend running as root?
