A tutorial for what?

That's a recurring problem with the very notion of "tutorial". A
tutorial can only have only one goal, or else it's not a tutorial any
more. But an operating system is not just one goal, there are a lot
of things which fit together, and one has to learn them one after the
other, sticking the parts together. A tutorial can *not* provide that.
Only scattered documentations can, and the reader has to glue them
together, at worse by asking questions on IRC to make the links between
them. I do agree that transversal documentations like rpc.mdwn and
io_path.mdwn are useful (that's why I wrote them). But there can not be
a "definite tutorial to understand everything". That can not exist.
