IIRC this is fixed, just missing d-i rebuild.

Probably because you have installed with just the CD, and thus a small
list of available packages. The empty line seems odd, however, I've
never seen that.

If you installed through IDE, that's expected: Linux drivers in Mach
support LBA28 only, which is 128GiB.
