My suggestion is that you program the installation of Hurd in two ways.
The first would be the usual, with an interpreter between Hurd and programming of micro processors.
The second would be giving the user the option to compile Hurd at the level of micro processor programming, so it would accept the option and the system would only work in the equal to his processor models, however it would gain much performance as the system is in the language micro programming.
  This is my suggestion and look for answers whether or not it can be applied always been grateful to the FSF and the GNU project.
