Better this way.  ;-)

Seriously, I think it’s saner to clearly separate Debian and upstream
again.  That upstream libc doesn’t work at all is in part due to the
fact that it’s so much easier to add patches to Debian than to go
through upstream review–and I’m not blaming anyone, I understand the
short-term benefits of doing that, but I think it’s harmful in the long
term.
