Also don't feel too bad.  People make mistakes.  I'm actually still
trying to figure out how to use mailing lists.  I'm currently subscribed
to emacs, guix, and the Hurd, and I have a complicated filters to make
sure my inbox doesn't explode.

Since you're trying to learn some Hurd stuff, you might take a look at
my Hurd cheatsheet.  I've been slowly adding to it to try to wrap my
head around what the Hurd can do.
