More information in lspci -nn. It seems that this machine use IDE interface for CDROM drive. I think that this is the reason because the installer is able to detect this drive to install the base system

This time, I tried to install Debian GNU/Hurd 2021 in a Thinkpad R61i, enabling SATA AHCI mode in the BIOS.

In this occasion, the installer (although keep the error about the changes in partition table may require reboot to be applied) got to start the installation of base system. But, in this step, it appears again the "no more room" error.

I've repeated the installation process three times, with the same result. I attach some images.
