Several of the Savannah general FAQ items are quite helpful in setting
up CVS access: http://savannah.gnu.org/faq/?group=administration
Any Savannah login passwords you have from before the security
compromise of late last year are now invalid, and you'll have to use the
site's "lost password" feature to regain access. See:
http://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=2752
Note that there's still anonymous CVS access, but no more pserver. So,
to check out hydrant, one now does:
$ export CVS_RSH="ssh"
$ cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/hydrant co hydrant
More at: http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=hydrant
A free-software pine/pilot clone to go with Chris Allegretta's "nano"
will be a major plus, when it finally comes about. I try to track this
situation in my personal FAQ pages:
