That sounds good. Here are some how long some other
ping -c 1 take to return when the site drops icmp:
netkit ping: 10 seconds
Mandrake 9.2 iputils ping 10 seconds
HP/UX B.11.00 ping 11 seconds
Solaris 9 ping 20 seconds
