No, it does not work. I have supplied all material necessary for OpenBSD,
but it has not gained the reception I was hoping to see.

The problem with "getutent", "pututline", "endutent" has not been solved yet.
That is the first instance in a general "make" where presently an error occurs.
It is in fact a linking failure. This is beeing invoked for telnet, since these
are referenced to by "libinetutils.a". These functions do not exist in OpenBSD,
so my patch manipulated the preprocessor conditionals to achieve the correct
code sequence. I have mentioned the solution at least two times.

As said, this prevents the building of "telnet".

Further, the problem that OpenBSD and MirBSD has if_freenameindex() as a macro
has not been address in GNUlib. Simon undertook this, but has clearly not
resolved the issue. I did earlier propose a correct solution for Inetutils,
but Simon rejected the unavoidable preprocessor conditionals.

This latter situation prevents the compilation of "ifconfig/ifconfig".

I must ask for permission to check further in two or three days, in order to
give a final answer.

Regards,

Mats
