Perhaps not; however, I don't think it's actually possible to fix the issue properly. Firefox only provides an API to intercept loaded data for HTTP/S, and there doesn't seem to guarantee Firefox won't start running any code it's received before LibreJS has had a look at it.

I believe the same problem affects NoScript; many times I have opened a local file containing MathJax in a new tab and had my text marked up despite JavaScript being blocked.
