It is run only if `test "$build_old_libs" = yes', and
`build_old_libs=no' in my config.  Should we for such a
configurations:

skip the test,

cause `check' makefile rules to ensure `build_old_libs=yes' in a
`libtool' specially created for this test,

or change `ltmain.in' to run "$lo2o" regardless of "$build_old_libs"?
