Bug under FreeBSD 4.x

I'm not member of this list, so please reply to my address (if
necessary).

I' sending a patch to solve a problem with libtool 1.4.2 under FreeBSD
4.x. The problem is that libtool explicitely links libc in the .so
files. In FreeBSD (as in OpenBSD, for which libtools seems to work
well), we have libc and libc_r (for MT executables), so libc should not
be specified.

Please patch libtool for the next release.
