libtool-1.4.3: six successful builds, with a small installation glitch

I got successful builds and passes of all 83 validation suite tests
for libtool-1.4.3 on these systems:

        DEC Alpha               GNU/Linux 2.2.19-6.2.1 (Red Hat 6.2)
        Intel Pentium II        FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE #0
        Apple PowerPC G3 267MHz GNU/Linux 2.2.18-4hpmac (Red Hat Linux/PPC 2000 
Q4)
        Compaq/DEC Alpha        OSF/1 4.0F
        Intel Pentium III       GNU/Linux 2.4.9-31smp (Red Hat 7.2 (Enigma))
        Sun SPARC               GNU/Linux 2.2.19-6.2.1 (Red Hat 6.2)

However, on some of them, "make install" failed because of an invalid
setting of the INSTALL variable in ./libltdl/Makefile:

        INSTALL = ../

This should have read (on this system)

        INSTALL = /home/staff/computing/beebe/i386/local/bin/install -c

as it did in the 11 other Makefiles in the build tree.
