Yes, I suggested that he should re-install his SDK.
I will look at adding a libtool patch to add --program-prefix=g if the
user installs libtool to /usr (but the user shouldn't be doing that, imo).
Quite a few people are not that educated. There may also be some
packages which are 'helpful' by finding the existing installed package
(by finding the executable) and then installing to the same directory.
