I tried again, cvs update, make and you can find the input file at
http://www.s3.kth.se/~mabe/lilypond/problem.ly
and the resulting output at
http://www.s3.kth.se/~mabe/lilypond/problem.pdf
Clearly, the first two lines of the second movement have a
starting bar line.
