I put in your remarks. Many thanks for going through the manual: it is
thoroughly appreciated, because it is a part of LilyPond that doesn't
get enough attention.

Anything to improve the manual is welcome: corrections, suggestions,

Yes, I have preference to diffs, from a synched CVS tree, if possible
with the path leading to the file (in this case
Documentation/user/lilypond-book.itely). Then I can pipe it into a
patch script directly.
