Well, regardless of who broke what, it's true that there are a million
conflicting ways to write these things, and instead of tying symbols
to note names, thus rigidly enforcing one obscure system over another,
Lilypond should use the Finale system of just graphically drawing
whatever symbols the musician wants on the page. If the guy wants some
ridiculous combination of flats, sharps, and circles, it should be
available. In chords mode.

I hope you will support me in this. I haven't heard anything from the
authors yet, although I did provide the Finale font set that could be
used as a guide in creating symbols.

I will actually pay money if this happens.
