There is some confusion here. I am not taking about several fragments
being on the same line but a score that lilypond-book has split up into
several systems being rendered all on the same line.

in my latex file but I had used the command:

\lilypondfile[indent=1.2\cm]{prelude-d.ly}

When prelude-d.ly is rendered by lilypond, it takes up about two pages
of A4 on six separate systems. These are the systems referred to in the
file lily-xxxxxxxxx-systems.tex which is input into the final latex
file that lilypond-book builds. They should all of which should be on
separate lines, and is what happened in version 2.4. The problem cannot
be solved with \pre and \postLilyPondExample because this counts as only
one example! However this is history now as problem has now been fixed
in the latest cvs.

In the case of a score that lilypond-book has already split up into
separate lines, it _does_ solve the problem.
