Known bug, slur-appoggiatura.ly in the bug database.

One workaround is to use phrasing slurs, another way could be to temporarily 
create a new voice for the acciaccatura, something like (untested):

        g4( \new Voice {\acciaccatura e8 f4} e4) d4
