I have to say that from a Windows user's point of view, this is a very serious bug that really should be in a stable version as soon as possible. The effect on a Windows user is to break many Windows and 3rd-party operations, with no clear clue as to what has broken. I'm fairly fluent in the PC/Windows world, and it still took me a couple of hours to track down what had happened. For an average user, this could be very difficult to diagnose, and they may wind up thinking they have contracted a virus and reformatting their drive.

I assume that you mean 2.7.26-2.

Yes, thanks Mats.

Could you please make a corrected stable version as well?

Good point. We haven't considered that yet. Han-Wen?
