No luck. I've cleaned out a lot of cruft from earlier installations--I
thought the wrong lilypond-mode.el might have been loaded, but the
patched version is the only one on my machine. I get the same error.
I'm having trouble getting a backtrace too. I managed to get one once,
but I don't think it was what I wanted, and I couldn't repeat the effort.
I've tried loading the file--both patched and unpatched-- in emacs 21.4,
but it says it can't load the file (yes, permissions are set correctly).
Any ideas anyone? I don't know vim and I don't plan to learn ;-)
