Hi everybody!
Unfortunately I have to renew my bug report "Beam/Stem misattached when
overriding Y-extent" as I've found another example (see below) for which
beams and stems aren't well-aligned. Attached you'll find a picture of
the output.
As I mentioned before on WinXP the error first occured during changing
from v2.7.12 -> v2.7.17 and isn't fixed in latest development release
2.7.35-2. By change that's also when Staff.verticalExtent
became Staff.VerticalAxisGroup #'Y-extent.
I couldn't reproduce the error in latest stable version 2.6.5, so I
think it can be called release critical. If it can't be fixed it should
be kept in mind to be a bug in WinXP version and be added to the bug
database.
Finally I would be glad if another WinXp user verfied the behaviour on
his machine.
Example:
--------
\score {
\new staff {
\override Staff.VerticalAxisGroup #'Y-extent = #'(-7 . 7)
\relative c'' {
r4 es8 f g f es d
c1
}
}
}
Kind regards,
Thies Albrecht
