bug: lyric words do not appear in midi lyric text file

I use Windows XP and I use the newest version 3.80.  and I see that in
 the templates for the chords with lyrics and the following, 3.1.3 and 3.1.4 
isn't there supposed to be the words of the lyric in the lyric box?  Instead I 
get the LilyPond creator information, version and date.  

To see if this was not a typo, I cut and paste the instructions as well as the 
example files. 

When is this going to be fixed?
